We, in Hayyez, were asked to design UNESCO offices extension to add 7 more desks in the upper floor. However, we wanted to create a healthy naturally lit introverted micro-climate by wrapping a perforated wall around the office space, also we created a light-well in the middle for light and air to circulate inside, where the staff can take their cigarettes break in. UN staff are obsessed with cubicles partitions, so we created cubicles to follow the rhythms of the perforated wall.
